A lithium iron phosphate battery or LiFePO4 battery is a type of rechargeable battery. Due to the superior chemical and mechanical structure, LiFePO4 batteries are the safest type of lithium battery on the market today.

In addition to the application of the LiFePO4 battery pack itself. Spard has also developed LiFePO4 batteries to replace traditional sealed lead-acid batteries. Compared to SLA battery, LiFePO4 battery has much longer cycle life with lighter weight. Lead acid batteries may be a bargain at first, but they’ll end up costing you more in the long run. There are many types of LiFePO4 cells. Each type has its own special performances, and each application needs to choose the appropriate cell type first. No one type is suitable for all applications. 

In addition to the performance selection of the battery cell, it is also necessary to select a battery cell of an appropriate size according to the maximum battery space that each application can provide.

Battery Management System

Battery Management System (BMS) is mainly an integrated circuit board that protects lithium batteries because the material of the lithium battery itself determines that it cannot be overcharged, over-discharged, over-current, short-circuited and ultra-high temperature charging and discharging.

The three basic functions of BMS are short-circuit protection, overcharge protection and over-discharge protection. The optional functions could be balance function, communication function etc. Spard has hardware and software BMS for choice. The common BMS models are as below. Assemble Your Battery Packs

After selecting the correct single cell and suitable BMS, the assembly of the LiFePO4 battery pack also needs to consider some other details, such as charging wire & plug, discharging wire & plug, whether the battery pack needs color labels, whether the battery pack needs a housing, and whether the outer packaging is color carton, etc.

After the LiFePO4 battery pack is assembled, it needs to go through a sample test and a trial test before it can be officially finalized. Before placing a bulk order, we will assist you to obtain all necessary certificates as follows:
